Quartz Electronics Test Engineer Overview The Quartz Electronics Test Engineer role requires a skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in electronics. Responsibilities include the development, documentation, and execution of quartz testing protocols, as well as the troubleshooting of testing systems to ensure product quality and reliability. A hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and experience with electronic testing systems are essential.

Quartz Electronics Test Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for quartz electronic testing systems are designed, developed, documented, and implemented.
  • Electronic testing equipment such as temperature testing systems, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators is used to perform tests.
  • Test results are analyzed, findings are documented, and feedback is provided to production and development teams.
  • Defects and issues within electronic test systems are diagnosed and troubleshot.
  • Detailed documentation of test plans, procedures, and results is maintained.
  • Test reports, summaries, and presentations are prepared for engineering and management teams.
  • Enhancements to existing test processes and procedures are proposed to improve efficiency and product reliability.
  • Shipping records, locations, and test data for inventoried quartz crystals are maintained.

Quartz Electronics Test Engineer Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic systems or equivalent experience in electronics engineering is expected.
  • Proficiency with electronic testing tools (e.g., network analyzers, multimeters, signal generators) is required.
  • Strong communication skills are needed to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
